Academic Transcripts

Academic Transcript

An academic transcript is an official document that contains a record of a student’s academic history at a particular educational institution. It typically includes information such as the courses the student has taken, the grades received, the dates of attendance, and the degree or certificate awarded, if applicable.

Transcripts are commonly used by universities and colleges to evaluate a student’s academic performance and determine whether they meet the requirements for admission to a particular program or for graduation. They are also often used by employers and other organizations as a way to verify a person’s educational credentials.

Kimia Farsi Translation Center offers a variety of Academic Transcript Translation including:

  • Unofficial Transcript: This is an unofficial copy of the transcript that does not have the institution’s seal or signature. It may be used for personal reference or as a draft for translation.
  • Semester Transcript: This transcript contains the student’s academic records for a specific semester or term.
  • Final Transcript: This transcript contains the student’s academic records for their entire academic program, including the degree or certificate awarded.
  • Course-by-Course Evaluation: This is a detailed evaluation of the student’s academic records, including the course titles, credits, grades, and GPA. It may be required for admission to a higher education institution or for professional certification.
  • Diploma Supplement: This is an official document that provides additional information about the student’s academic program, such as the program’s structure, content, and learning outcomes. It may be required for international recognition of the student’s academic degree.

Note: When translating an academic transcript, it is important to clarify with the requesting institution or organization which type of transcript they require and whether a certified translation is needed.
